A court's handed out more than £8,500 in fines for tax and national insurance offences.
Eleven companies and individuals appeared before magistrates charged with failing to pay national insurance, submit their tax returns or comply with tax return notices.
Eight businesses were fined a total of £7,500 while three individuals were fined a total of £1,260.
The court also ordered outstanding income tax returns to be submitted.
