The Island's Fire Service is asking that people take care when drying clothes indoors following a fire in Onchan.
Douglas crews were called to a structure fire earlier this week and were at the scene for approximately 40 minutes.
The blaze had been put out before firefighters arrived, but the property was smoke logged and had to be vented.
It's asked people keep clothing and fabric well away from open fires and log burners.
