Swimming pools across the Island are welcoming back residents from today.
The Northern and Southern facilities in Ramsey and Castletown respectively are re-opening today after making preparations since pools were given the green light to re-open from June 18.
Meanwhile, the training pool at the National Sports Centre is also getting back up and running today - the team there has already announced bookings for it will start being taken from Monday, July 6 and then aquafit classes there will resume the day after (June 7).
However, earlier this month Education, Sport & Culture Minister, Dr Alex Allinson MHK, confirmed the flumes and leisure pool at the NSC will remain shut whilst refurbishment works continue.
Dr Allinson has previously stated the NSC flumes won't be open in time for the summer holidays.
