The suspicious package assessed at the Island’s Airport this morning ‘did not pose a threat’.
That’s according to the government, who has issued a statement after the airport and surrounding roads had to shut down earlier today.
The building was evacuated due to a possible suspicious package, which was assessed by emergency services.
Passengers who faced disruption due to this incident are asked to contact the airlines directly for flight information.
