A father whose daughter died when he fell asleep behind the wheel has been handed a suspended prison sentence.
46-year-old Raymond French was given a 12 month prison sentence, which has been suspended for a year, at Douglas Courthouse today.
He had previously pleaded guilty to causing the death of his 10-year-old daughter Alexis by dangerous driving.
French’s BMW hit a bus in a head on collision on Shore Road on October 5th 2013.
