Suspended MHK John Houghton has sought help from the Ministry of Justice.
The Douglas North MHK has written a letter to Lord Faulks seeking an independent investigation into the Tynwald Committee's 'dubious findings' regarding his conduct.
Mr Houghton claims his suspension from Tynwald is 'unconstitutional' and 'defies all democratic principles'.
He's now asked Lord Faulks to consider intervening and to help clear his name as well as put an end to his suspension from Tynwald.
