A suspected case of COVID-19 on Island has been reported, according to the government.
Officials say the result is from a private test, the individual has been offered further testing and is now waiting for the result.
As a precaution, the affected person is now self-isolating for 14 days, along with others in their household.
Further, contact tracing is under way.
The Chief Minister Howard Quayle will provide an update at 4pm this afternoon at the weekly COVID-19 Briefing.
