The Met Office has confirmed May was the Island's sunniest on record.
In the first three weeks of the month there was just 0.4mm of rain, and sunshine topped the all-time record at 319.4 hours.
Temperatures were well above the long term average, with daily peaks coming in at two degrees above the average at 16.7 degrees.
The warmest day at Ronaldway hit 23.2 C.
