The former Summerland site on Douglas Promenade is being sold as a potential hotel or modern care home development.
Chapman Chartered Surveyors have the 3.81 acre plot, which is owned by the Department of Infrastructure, on the market.
It’s being sold as having the potential for leisure facilities, hotel development or modern care home accommodation.
All of these possible uses are subject to planning approval.
The sales brochure also notes a purchaser will be expected to build a memorial garden within any future design.

There have been several unsuccessful attempts to re-purpose the site in past years, with the government describing it as 'a prime development site'.
Mostly recently, a freedom of information request showed the site was listed as a possible storage location for turbine blades for the proposed Cair Vie windfarm.
