Improvements to a stream that runs through Pulrose will mean road closures for up to 12 weeks.
The Department of Infrastructure says it needs to prepare culverts for Farmhill Stream, which runs under Groves Road to the River Dhoo.
The DOI says flood risks show work's needed to prevent flooding at the National Sports Centre in extreme weather events.
As a result, part of Groves Road will close on November 7 and reopen when the work is finished at the end of January.
