A Strang woman has denied using a weapon in a sustained attack that left her alleged victim with 53 separate injuries.
Jade Karen Cooney of Cronk Grianagh appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
The 32 year old admitted resisting police at her home on April 14, but pleaded not guilty to causing actual bodily harm on the same date.
Magistrates said the case was so serious it would have to be heard by the Court of General Gaol Delivery, and bailed her to appear in court again on October 27.
