Police say four out of five incidents on a busy road so far this year have involved planters put in to lower drivers' speeds.
A freedom of information request to the Constabulary asked for details of incidents on Strang Road in Braddan in 2017.
In their response, officers said there had been two cases where motorists couldn't get past planters because of parked vehicles blocking the road.
And of three road traffic accidents this year, two saw planters knocked over.
