Ronaldsway Met Office has issued an amber weather warning as Storm Eleanor prepares to lash the Isle of Man.
The warning, for flooding, says waves are likely to break over exposed coastlines this evening - particularly in the south of the Island.
A high tide at 11.40pm will also mean some harbour areas could be flooded in Ramsey, Douglas and Castletown.
Forecasters say winds could reach speeds of up to 80mph during the night, which could cause some minor damage.
The Steam Packet Company says it'll make a decision at 5pm about whether this evening and tomorrow morning's ferry crossings will go ahead.
