Roads across the Island have been shut as Storm Bert causes tree branches and debris to fall onto paths.
They say that The Old Castletown Road in Douglas near the entrance of the Nunnery and the A3 Main Road near Bishops Court are completely blocked.
Main Road Union Mills is partially blocked and Foxdale Road and the A30 in St John also have been affected.
Police are currently on route to the A2 Ramsey Road in Dhoon and Patrick Road in St Johns.
They say to avoid unnecessary journeys and stay home if possible today.
