An MHK's hit out at the government over a meeting about a care home.
This week Manx Care said it held a meeting to discuss plans to replace the Cummal Mooar facility in Ramsey.
But the town's MHK Lawrie Hooper posted to X, saying MHKs and commissioners couldn't attend because it had been organised with just 24 hours' notice.
He says the government should stop the spin and get the building sorted.
This “meeting” was organised with 24hrs notice so local stakeholders like many Commissioners & the MHKs couldn’t attend and now the Minister is trying to spin it as a positive piece of collaborative working
