A formidable competitor in the TT has announced he won’t be taking part in next year’s event as he pulls out of all 2011’s road races.
Race winner Steve Plater sustained serious injuries in a practice crash for the North West 200.
He was left with a broken neck and arm aswell as nerve damage.
Despite this he is steadily regaining fitness and will be competing in other competitions this year.
Aswell as the TT he has stated he won’t be returning to the North West 200.
