Plater Out of TT With Broken
The news racing fans did not want to hear was confirmed today, Steve Plater will not be fit in time to compete in the TT.
He’s been side lined after breaking his arm following a crash at last week’s North West 200.
Honda have announced that Scottish race ace Keith Amor has taken his place.
Steve recorded victories in both 2008 and 2009 and was a strong favourite for victory again this year.
The TT gets underway with the practice races in 9 days time.
You can view a specially recorded message from Steve from his hospital bed, here.
