TT rider Steve Mercer has been moved from a critical care ward to a normal ward.
His wife, Caroline confirmed the news on social media earlier this week.
In the post, she thanked "everyone who has shown us so much kindness and care."
It comes after the 36-year-old was transferred to hospital in Liverpool after a collision with a course car at Ballacrye on Wednesday, May 30.
