TT rider Steve Mercer has provided a health update, following a crash last year.
The Kent racer was transferred to Liverpool hospital after being badly hurt during a collision in a practice session at Ballacrye in May 2018.
He suffered injuries to his brain, leg, ankle, pelvis, back and neck.
However, he posted a video on social media earlier today showing him on 'rewalk Robot legs'.
In the post he says: "Got a little excited today. Had my first spin in rehab on a set of their Rewalk Robot legs. They are really nice trick bits of kit. It’s not easy to put all your trust in them to walk for you. But it’s nice to be upright and a start."
