The Steam Packet Company says it's getting rid of cash payments at its ports.
It's part of a joint initiative with the government to enhance security, efficiency, and convenience.
From Thursday, March 27 cash transactions will cease in Douglas, Heysham, Liverpool, Belfast and Dublin.
In a statement, the company says it'll still accept cash on board vessels.
