The Steam Packet Company says it hopes to be back on track with Manannan sailings later today after the vessel hit Douglas quayside last night.
In a statement, the ferry firm says the incident happened at around 10pm as she berthed and no passengers were hurt.
Engineers have been assessing the damage – this morning’s Douglas to Liverpool 7.30am and 11.15am return trip have both been cancelled.
But the Steam Packet says it hopes to finish repairs in time for the Manannan to set off for Liverpool at 3pm - a further update will be issued at noon.
