The Steam Packet Company is reporting a healthy increase in forward bookings for this year’s TT.
Compared to this time last year there's an increase of 10% passenger bookings and a 7% rise for motorcycles.
Around 10,300 bikes travelled to the event last year and indications at this stage are that 2011 will show an increase that.
A spokesperson said despite the economic downturn, it is encouraging to see that the TT still commands an enviable position in the race calendar and attracts so many fans to the Island.
