Stay Alert, Stay Alive campaign launched for Manx Grand Prix

With its growing popularity there is expected to be an increase in numbers for this years Grand Prix, meaning more bikes on the road.

The Department of Infrastructure and Isle of Man Constabulary have joined forces for the MGP 2011 road safety campaign.

It’s reverting back to the popular campaign, Stay Safe, Stay Alive, used during TT 2010; it will feature a series of hard-hitting images of real crash scenes geared toward leaving a lasting impression on residents and visitors alike.

The campaign urges people to enjoy the Grand Prix, whilst riding according to conditions and especially making sure they don’t drink and drive.

With its growing popularity there is expected to be an increase in numbers for this years Grand Prix, meaning more bikes on the road.

The Road Safety Team will be organising static displays at various locations around the Island with the Team’s promotional vehicle and anyone can visit us to discuss their road safety issues.
