Fatal road traffic collisions on the Isle of Man have dropped but the number of serious crashes is on the rise:
Statistics released by police this week show there were 919 crashes between April 2015 and March 2016.
Six of those resulted in a fatality - 52 crashes caused serious injury; that's up by nine from the previous year.
