A Ramsey MHK is urging people to stand for election if they disagree with decisions being made.
It comes after a knitted cover on a lamp post outside a gallery in the town was removed for 'safety reasons,' prompting backlash from the shop owner.
Lawrie Hooper then took to social media to say if you disagree with this or any other 'seemingly odd' decisions being made, you should consider standing for election.
Ramsey is currently looking to appoint a new commissioner following the death of Leonard Singer.
