St Ninian's School Self Review results to go out to parents

The reviews look into all aspects of the school showing the areas where they need to take action and secure improvement.

Parents at St Ninian’s High School will be given the comments of an external validation of its School Self Review and Evaluation this week.

The reviews look into all aspects of the school showing the areas where they need to take action and secure improvement.

The possible judgements are outstanding, good, satisfactory and inadequate.

The Department of Education and Children look at the reviews as being very effective in helping schools to improve their practice.

A DEC spokesman says ‘the main aim of the validation process is to provide professional support to schools to help them to refine their own judgments.’

The key outcomes of the review will be communicated to the parents in a summarising newsletter.
