St Ninian's High School has been paying their tributes to Jamie Haslett, the 19 year old Manx student who was killed in Sheffield yesterday following a collision with a Police patrol car.

Jamie left St Ninian's in 2009 moving onto Sheffield's Halam University to study Sport and Business Management.

Details are as yet vague about the circumstances surrounding Jamie's death, what is known is that the patrol car was driving to aid an ambulance at the time of the collision around 04.00am.

Jamie was a well liked and respected pupil during his time at St Ninian's, who represented the School's sports teams at all levels.
