All year seven students from St Ninian’s Lower School and those they live with are being told to self-isolate.
Government made the announcement last night, following work by the Covid-19 contact tracing team.
Those affected have been directed not to turn up at school today and await further instructions.
Meanwhile, Ballasalla School is also closed with all students in years three and four there asked to self-isolate.
This also applies to teaching and support staff.
Any students due to attend Ballasalla School should go to Scoill Phurt Le Moirrey instead.
