The Spring Valley Roundabout will be closed to traffic over the next two weekends.
It comes as the Department of Infrastructure continues its resurfacing work that has been ongoing at the bottom of Richmond Hill.
The roundabout will be closed from 6am on Saturday 14 and reopen no later than 6pm on Sunday 15.
The southbound leg to Richmond Hill will remain closed and part of the roundabout will have a temporary surface.
The road will then be closed for the same period the following weekend to complete the works and install line marking.
Traffic heading south from Douglas is advised to go along South Quay, past the Nunnery and join the diversion route past the Energy from Waste Plant.
