Two new Island cycling teams are being launched aiming to compete on both the British and international stage.
Sporting Club Isle of Man has announced new men's and women's teams under the name of 'Cycling Club Isle of Man' with the aim to have both outfits ready to take on competitions from next year.
Two well-known figures in the sport on Island, Andrew Roche and Gianni Epifani, are working with support from IOM Cycling Association and Sporting IOM to put the teams together by using local athletes.
The organisation says the new team wants to exploit the legacy already created by the likes of Mark Cavendish, Peter Kennaugh, Steve Joughin and Marie Morgan.
