Coastguards are reminding boat owners to check their moorings after a vessel broke free on Sunday morning.
Ramsey's coastguard team was called out at 3am after reports of a vessel adrift in the harbour.
Crew members in dry suits went out to the boat and discovered its bow line had given way - they attached a temporary line from the shore before replacing it with a permanent line when tide conditions improved.
They're reminding owners to assess mooring ropes properly, and to replace them if they're frayed or showing signs of mold or mildew.
