The Department of Infrastructure says it needs to close the Mountain Road this morning to clean it.
Contractors spilled material on the road between Brandywell and the Bungalow which couldn't be cleaned up yesterday.
This morning the DOI says the route will shut from the Creg ny Baa to the Bungalow from 9.30am until midday.
It says it'll plane the bitumen from the road surface and reinspect its condition.
