From today, there will be speed restrictions on a section of a main route between Douglas and the South of the Island.
The Department of Infrastructure says it's putting a 30mph limit in place on the New Castletown Road in Santon between Oatlands Road and Mount Murray Back Road until no later than Friday, March 20.
It's while contractors carry out repairs on both the carriageway and footpaths in the area.
Officials add there will be temporary two-way traffic lights on that stretch during the works expected to be in force between 9.30am and 4pm from Monday to Friday.
