Traffic calming measures could be installed on a highway in Castletown, if planners give the green light.
The Department of Infrastructure wants to install two speed humps on Victoria Road.
The proposed works are part of a partnership between the DOI and Castletown Commissioners to create a 20mph zone across the town region.
Castletown was one of the first three towns to be considered for the Active Travel Strategy which is hoping to promote a more pedestrian and cycle-friendly environment.
