A temporary spectator facility for the Island's motorsports festivals could become a permanent fixture under a new planning application.
Rockfell Ltd, registered in St George's Street in Douglas, wants to scrap two planning conditions imposed on its viewing area at the Black Dub in St Johns.
At present, the spectator stands have to be removed after the end of Manx Grand Prix and stored until the following TT.
But the company says it wants to keep the facility all year round because putting it up and taking it down is expensive and disruptive.
