The Southern Swimming Pool will remain closed while a detailed investigation takes place.
It comes after the Board was made aware of safety concerns with the Pool Hall lighting last week.
Consultants have since assessed the site and say further investigations are needed.
As a result, he pool will stay closed until it's determined there is no risk to the public, with all swimming lessons and activities suspended.
The Board says it prioritises public safety and is committed to reopening the pool when it's deemed safe.
