A swimming pool in the south of the Island is expecting further losses next year.
The Minister for Education, Sport and Culture Daphne Caine published the financial plan for the Southern Swimming Pool, after Onchan MHK Julie Edge asked to see the forecast in a question for written answer.
In the plan, it shows a total loss of £117,943 in the 2025/26 financial year, up from £86,762 for 2024/25 - an increase of 35 percent.
There is an estimated profit of £42,143, but after depreciation and irrecoverable VAT costs are taken into account, the pool will be at an overall loss.
