Organisers have provided an update on the condition of the riders who were involved in a fatal four-rider collision at the Southern 100 yesterday.
Yorkshire rider James Cowton died and three others sustained serious injuries during the 600cc challenge race on the Billown circuit.
Southern 100 organisers now say Ivan Lintin has been flown off Island for further examination and has undergone surgery on his leg.
Meanwhile, James Coward and Mickey Evans have been discharged from Noble’s Hospital.
It’s also been confirmed Dorset rider Brian Fruidge came off his bike in a separate incident and has since been flown off Island for further treatment to a jaw injury.
Southern 100 says it wishes Ivan and Brian both a full recovery and is pleased Jamie and Mickey have been discharged and will both be back to full fitness.
