Star Filled Southern 100 Enters 55th Year
The Southern 100 will tear into action today with a
number of TT favourites returning to the Island for the
event.
Perhaps the two biggest stories in the build up to
this years Southern 100 was the shock inclusion of Guy Martin following his
Senior Race Day crash, and then his subsequent withdrawal last week with health issues cited as the reason.
Even without Martin the event will have its fair
share of Motor biking superstars with Ryan Farquhar, Cameron Donald, Ian Lougher
and sidecar champions Klaus Klaffenbock and Dan Sayle all down to
compete.
The event is spread over four days and is now in its
55th year.
The action will get underway this evening at 6pm with a practice session for all classes taking part.
