A company planning to build a renewable energy grid in the north of the Island is to host a public showcase of its proposals next month.
IPV Flexgen will hold the event at Andreas Parish Hall on Wednesday, June 10 between 10am and 7pm.
It's planning to build an anaerobic digester and solar farm on Andreas Airfield, to produce up to 27 megawatts of electricity - around 90 per cent of the Island's renewable energy target this year.
The company says the power generated would be used by businesses on the site and it hopes to start construction next year, subject to planning.
