A social media campaign has launched to try and encourage young people to vote.
Youth Vote IM is aimed at getting those aged 16 - 18 interested in local politics.
Posts call for young people to register to vote online, and instructions on how to do so.
It's though voter turnout for 16- and 17-year-old's was relatively low in the last General Election.
