Accommodation and Security Have Been Perfect, Says Manx Athlete
3FM have been speaking to one of the Manx competitors currently out in Delhi for the Commonwealth Games, to find out if all of the negative press was justified.
Last week it emerged that only half of the athletes' accommodation had been completed, with images circulating of filthy uncompleted rooms.
The security at the event had also been called into question after a number of flaws were flagged up by investigative journalists.
According to member of the Archery squad Adrian Bruce, the Manx teams experience so far has been very positive.
Adrian described the accommodation and hospitality as very good and said the whole team feel safe with round the clock security watching over them.
We asked him if he anticipates the withdrawal from the event of the Kennaugh brothers having a negative impact on the cycling team.
