Snow and sleet is affecting driving conditions on the Mountain Road this morning.
Police say the route currently remains open but authorities are asking motorists to take extra care on the highway or to use an alternative route.
Officers add the Department of Infrastructure has been informed and a gritter is being dispatched to minimise any potential issues for commuters.
Meanwhile, Beinn-y-Phott Road between the A18 and Brandywell Cottage at Sartfell is shut due to drifting snow in the area.
