'Snapshot' shows patients are happy with service

98 per cent of patients surveyed about community health services on the Isle of Man are happy with the care they receive.

That's according to feedback forms collected between July 2015 and July this year - 185 people submitted their views.

The Department of Health and Social Care has described the results as a 'snapshot' - the forms were introduced in 2014 as an additional way to measure patient satisfaction.

They ask patients to answer a number of questions about whether staff were helpful and caring, if they inspired confidence and whether patients felt involved in decisions about their care.

However the department says it's working towards providing greater flexibility with appointments after issues with availability.
