The Snaefell Mountain Railway has started service for the summer season.
Trams will run from Laxey each day throughout the season, with a new addition to the No.1 tramcar.
It will offer an audio commentary at selected points along the five mile journey - the aim is to roll out the initiative to all Snaefell trams eventually.
Director of public transport Ian Longworth says the popularity of the railways is continually increasing:
