Snaefell Mountain Railway services start today, one day later than originally scheduled.
The service is back up and running following a suspension last year year because of safety concerns, an incident in August saw the tram lose power as it left the summit station.
The Department of Infrastructure says it's made changes to the trams braking systems, and it's been looked over by a brake specialist and the Health and Safety at Work Inspectorate.
Head of Health and Safety At Work Bernard Walden says additional measures have been put in place to improve the safety of the Snaefell Mountain Railway.
