Douglas is set to get its first adults-only gambling machine centre after planners approved proposals from an Island company.
Spin Mooar Ltd has won permission to open the adult entertainment centre with slot machines in a former beauty salon on Nelson Street.
The planning decision says although there's public concern about its socio-economic impact, the morality and ethics of gambling facilities aren't things that can be considered by planning authorities.
Planner voted to approve the application at their last meeting.
