The Department of Infrastructure says resurfacing work could mean significant delays at a busy junction in Douglas.
The six week scheme at Lord Steet starts today, and will see traffic lights replaced and road markings repainted.
The work's taking place from the junction on Athol Street past the Ridgeway Street junction, meaning the pedestrian crossing will be out of use.
The work is expected to be finished by Friday, December 15.
