He added that Wednesday was "amazing" -when he was sworn-in as the island's 31st Lieutenant Governor.
Today was an amazing day. I was sworn in as the 31st Lieutenant Governor of the Isle of Man: an honour and a privilege. We very much look forward to making our home on the island and playing a full part in the community. Thank you to everyone who has made us feel so welcome. https://t.co/2vney5SZFR
