Walkers are being warned about a sinkhole developing on a path in the south of the Island.
Manx National Heritage says the six-foot hole is on the Raad Ny Foillan at the Chasms.
Barriers have been put around it, and engineers from the Laxey Mines Research Group will inspect the ground before work takes place to reinstate the path.
Sinkholes can be caused by erosion, high levels of rainfall or rockfalls.
